EDIT 2:
You ask about Hollywood Pictures was released in the Amiga Future.
It was Amiga Future No.14 on the Cover CD in 1998.
I packed a picture of this CD in The Zone.

SO. ALL THESE GAMES STAND AS PD/FREEWARE IN THE NEW HOL SITE.
BUT ALL THESE GAMES HAVE A BOXED VERSION WITH WAS OR IS NOT FREE.
SO THERE ARE ALL COMMERCIAL - FIRST - and then Free or just free on Download Versions.

Coco Banana - Box, Disk Misc (was published from AmiTen itself and also sold from Amiga France (BOXED)
Dodgy Rocks - - Box, Disks (was published in a Boxed Version via Phoenixware)
SQRXZ4 - Box, Disk Misc (is still published boxed from APC/TCP)
Trap Runner - Box, Disk, Misc (is still published boxed from APC/TCP)
https://www.amiga-shop.net/Amiga-Sof...e:::29_53.html

Also Solid Gold boxed published from Amiga.net.pl
There are two Versions both stands PD/Freeware but both Full Price.
Why didn´t you make an entry for the commercial Version Full Price.

Just on the end of all stands a notice that there was a Collectors Edition with box, but nothing as commercial.

In most cases there was a commercial release first and than is becomes free.
Today it is often that there is a commecial Release mostly boxed and a Download Release for free.
You just actualise the whole system, so it must be possible that there will be an entry that a free Version is just a Download??? and PD/Freeware is NO Price!!!
Why did not make the entries as commercials?
Most of the times you do a notice that the game gets free on a site.
So everyone can search for a free version.

Just think it off...

Most/all of the those entries were created by other team members that apparentely didn't check/update the information about the release status of those games. The licence type 'No Price' was only created a few days ago as you know and now has to be applied to the appropriate entries manually. I'll ask Cody if is possible to automate the process, but we all do this in our spare time, so things aren't done at once.

Just as a personal note, reading those 'Why isn't it perfect?' rants isn't increasing my motivation to work on HOL.

Yes, I know it isn´t perfect, and it is just an idea to make it better.

It is clear that you do it all in your spare time, and that is really honorious that you manage all the entries so fast.
I believe I am speaking for all contributors, that we are glad that you work for us.
You correct all the wrong entries, you listed new things etc. and that happens really fast.
Many years that happens nothing.

But I have often the feeling we are get 20 or so - against 1.
Meaning 20 contributors on 1 HOL Team worker.
We all get all the informations for you and there is just one that put them into HOL.

We all can live and must except if it all going not so fast, but I believe
if we get an idea to make it better, we would like to get an answer if there
is a thinking off to do this changes or not.
But you mostly the person which comunicate with us, but you also the person which
often can not decide things like that.
Otherwise it could also be happened, like it is with nujack, that some of the contributors
don´t like to contribut any longer.
And that is also sad

So if someone says.
"We think about the changes and try to organise them ", every thing is fine.
That it takes time it will be clear, I think.

By the way... yesterday I am just sitting 6-7 hours to make all the latest contributs, with all the scans, Screensshot, collecting information sort them all.
My wive says yesterday. "What you are doing all that time, and sitting the whole time on that computer!!!!"
So I believe we all have similar problems, but we all want that the HOL Database gets further, did we?

By the way. 2...
If there is some space time the links where all mutation Softwware Games can be purchased, now - can be actualised.
https://www.etsy.com/de/shop/Mutatio...about-shopname

The old links did not work anylonger.

I'm more than happy to get additional information and correct entries on HOL, but it's really off putting to answer why it hasn't been done yet. It's surely not helpful that except for NPI I'm the only team member that currently adds contributions. Please keep that in mind the next time you feel inclined to ask pointless questions like 'Why did not make the entries as commercials?'.

Sorry, I am not inclined about that.

I just had not understand why these titels get in HOL as Freeware.
I did not had the info before you said above, most of the entries are did not
checked by other members.
So that is just an answer, that gves the reason why that is so. Thats all!
Now I knew it, and you get the information that these titels are not freeware in all ways.
And in my opinion it would be great if you find a way to solve these problems, maybe automatically in Hol.
I find a good way that in newer entries there is a version listed for itch.io and a Full Price version also. That shows a user that there are existing two versions to get in the Amiga World.

By the way...
I am not sure to scan full manuals of games which are currently still to sell in shops. That is the reason why I am just get the Manual Cocver scanned.
Only to show that existing a printed manual.
I was surprised that there is a whole manual of Freds Journey in HOL.
Did you ask Andreas Magerl to do so? Or isn´t it any problem.?
I knew that APC/TCP still has the copyrights for as long they sell there titels as commercials.

At least the 'No Price' info for 'PD/Freeware' can be set automatically. The rest will have to be changed manually.

My wife saying it too but also "i hope your "work" will bring us some money"
Compering to you i'm just small contributor focused mostly on Polish titles but i think we should adopt MAME philosophy here:
"dump now, emulate later"
So in my opinion we should add as many materials as we can and all of them will find their way to HOL sooner or later

PS
Recently i uploaded over 1900 magazine scans so i understand it need a lot of time to add them.

For that kind of listing version the new HOL platform is better than the old one.
So if we use it that way we find a good solution for all.
Also you can just add what you get, so we (contributors) must also do a good job to give you the right informations, as good as WE can.

Heh, 'dump now, add later'

With more scans (box, disk, magazine, catalogue) available you get a much better picture about a game and its releases. When a lot of HOL entries were created most of those scans weren't yet available and afterwards things got added to entries, but not that often the existing information was updated/checked. I'm going through a lot of entries per day trying to fix both some issues that got introduced with the transfer of data between HOL v2 and v3 as well as having a quick look if the info is still accurate (checking against reviews, advertisements, etc.). If I check an entry thoroughly it takes between 10 and 30 minutes. With 6,311 entries it is a long term project

Quick info: CDLabel.info is just a service that created the CD and most likely also the box. I'll use Project R3D as the publisher.

The mousepad and the sticker were in the big box release?

Edit: The Spell! screenshots were also converted from some format to PNG.

Bridge Strike is on my list of Polish titles. I've Publisher: AMIGA.net.pl
There's also CD32/CDTV version.

PS
Just asked coder and he said that Publisher was CDLabel

Yes, I know.
I wrote in my HOL informations that Bridge Strike first published via Amiga.net.pl
Pavel published more titels via Amiga.net.pl

But there were massive problems. I ve heard that Pavel get no money for sold Games.
Later he published them by himself via his own shop CDLabel.info at the polish ebay
Allegro.pl.
He also offered the Big Boxes for his Games Bridge Strike, AstroBlox revisited, Tanks Furry ang Zgrep.
I saw these Boxes and we get in contact with him over our german communiy a1k.org. because we are not able to order games via Allegro.pl.
After that he organised for foreign buyers the games from a own shop CD.Label.info.
So I bought all four Big Boxes there, also some people from the a1k to support his work.
But the shop is closed. now I believe he sold all boxes.

Here is an old link from Allegro.pl from Bridge Strike and Astroblox.
https://archiwum.allegro.pl/oferta/a...035193104.html
https://archiwum.allegro.pl/oferta/g...374709818.html

You see, all Big Boxes comes with massive gimmicks. etc mousepad.
Both Games comes with Disk and CD/Cd32.
And the Big Boxes have very good quality.

So, TCD. Yes you are right. CDlabel.info is mainly a shop for Boxes etc. but these Games were available shortly over this channel. But Project R3D is also great because this is Pawels Project Name.
Amiga publishers must be flexible.

That's the main issue. Otherwise we'd have to include eBay and Amazon as publishers. If he'd sold the games directly on CDlabel.info the situation would be different. Just had a look at a snapshot of the website from 2021 and there aren't any games on offer: https://web.archive.org/web/20210125....cdlabel.info/

Yes, ebay as Publisher is no way. The Games were also sold about this Irish Ebay Seller.
So that makes no sense.
I think if you listed it as R3D as Developer and 2. Publisher it is OK. That shows that he sold it by himself , later. Because the Big Boxes were never sold on Amiga.net.pl just the first release as DVD.
The Big Boxes aren´t available, now. But for so we have a short info, where these Boxes come from.
But I find a link on retroplace were it stands also "Publisher cdlabel.info"
https://www.retroplace.com/en/games/...-bridge-strike

I will give you infos and Big Box Scans from the other three games, later...
