So, back in the days, when we are at elementary, or high school, and no internet, there were a lots of myth's for consoles and comps (remember hidden "Sexuality" for Mortal Kombat, or Sega "Blast Processing"

).

I've heard few Amiga myths too, and I'll mention 2 of them, that I remember right now.
Myth 1:
- Someone told me, there was like organized 3D rendering competition. Best Amiga, best PC, and best Mac. Amiga won.

He told me that Amiga animation was like slow water dripping from the faucet, and the effect was great.
Myth 2:
Playstation 1 basically stole the Amiga architecture (with custom chips) and that's why it was so powerful (and successful).

I don't know if this has been mentioned or not but the origin of the shen long prank Started in electronic gaming monthly. Coincidentally enough it was the April issue and a lot of people didn't catch on to it and they even included doctored screenshots of the man in action

Haha you can clearly see that "Sheng Long" has just been pasted into the fight in the top right screen shot. Bison is doing his scissor kick special move and that is clearly not a throw animation for him lol

You could say people were gullible but look at all the hidden characters in Mortal Kombat 2 at the time, it was plausible that that character could exist in the game at the time. However if you read the text you have to think how did anyone fall for this as the steps needed to fight him are so absurd. I guess as kids we just wanted to believe it was real too much
