Want to Find : Amiga 808 synth / sample renderer

Hello my fellow EAB'ers

I was having a gander at this thread, and it reminded me of a most awesome program that sadly I have forgotten the name of.

This program opens its own custom screen. You would have a small area to write notes in a tracker style and during the process would "render" a "sound sample" from a set of envelopes and notes based around the 808 synth, if memory serves - ... I have tried before but sadly the name.... it escapes me...

I remember it sounding "perhaps" something like "rombler" - but alas, I have not been able to find it...

I think it may of been on an -older- Amiga Format CD - I would enjoy discovering this program again -

Thanks for reading

An 808 is a drum machine, are you sure you don't mean a 303? In which case it's probably http://aminet.net/package/mus/edit/303tracker

If i think a while back now i think i can remember that no true-er words spoken as this once was....

"From a hardware / software engineers point of view, if it works, then clearly there is not enough features worked into it yet!"

I use even today

Rombler / 808 Synthesizer / MEDSS
Imagine 5.1 / Workbench / Dpaint / ProPage

Dice 6.1 / SAS / StormC / Gadtools
this 303tracker is nice, but demo only.
sourcecode and other files still available on archive.org

No problem man, I was pretty sure it was this fine program.

I wonder if the author can still be contacted nowadays? A full reg version would be nice.
