Okay fair enough don't bother if it's too much trouble. Yes, CL or any VGA card emulates most common CGA functions, but does not have snow "feature" I can get that in PCem though. |

Great job Toni and big thanks to all beta testers with getting PCem Bridgeboard replacement working pretty much just as well and in some ways even better than previous version so quickly. I think it's much nicer and more like real HW now.

I notice in latest beta arrow keys and keypad are back to not working properly again. I have to use shift key to get correct behavior.

Actually this happened with 2.0 Janus SW. Keyboard works fine in Janus 2.1. Still interesting that it doesn't work in Janus 2.0. But I understand if you don't want to bother with trying to track down the problem. |

Here's an interesting test case though. I found that when using uaehf, Janus handler and library don't connect. But when I use A2091 it does. Configs and HDF attached here.

Hy Tony,
in all , Dos, Windows 3.11 and Windows 95, the key are detect with 85/86 key and not with 100/101 and the numeric pad not function. I try to force 100/101 key but not work. It's the limit of brigeboard A2386SX? Thanks a lot. |

Anyway, don't enable secondary AT-IDE, it is useless because BIOS only supports single IDE cable, one master and one slave. (I don't remember why I even added it..) |

In other words, keyboard type/translation is in Janus software. Of course it is possible to inject keys directly to PC keyboard controller but soon this isn't bridgeboard emulation anymore.. |

Any news about the SVGA modes, like 800x600 256 colors for Windows 3.x?
I am not asking for Windows 95+ |

CL blitter fixed (may have affected also some AOS drivers). I am not yet sure if it is fully working because Program Manager title was oddly inverted.
NE2000 hang fixed. (IRQ was never cleared) |

Did you include correct files because HDF does not have RDB but configurations mount the HDF in RDB mode (which of course is not going to boot).

Sorry Toni, I did put the wrong HDF in the zip. Gets confusing with so many test configs going on. Ok this one should work. Please try again. Thanks! |

Directory harddrives was fixed when bridgeboard was first implemented. I never use HDFs when testing something that does not need HDF... |

I do not know why, in "Network Adapters" I have that LAN Card, you can attach your file settings for comparison

I do not have that Network Card in Win95, for me to make the network work i think it's difficult, and I'll probably stop here with the tests i use a wireless network with a username and password on my PC, with OS3 i managed with "Miami" + "uaenet.device" but with Win95 I do not know where to put my hands

Mouse update. Old mouse device has disappeared and was replaced with "x86 Bridgeboard mouse" that has one extra config option: mouse type. Serial, PS/2 or PS/2 intellimouse. (PS/2 only possible if A2286 or A2386SX).
PS/2 probably is not possible with real hardware but it was too easy to add. EDIT: 2M VRAM is now available for VGA card. Last edited by Toni Wilen; 16 August 2018 at 20:24. |
