I'm considering Boot Camp and buying Windows 10, just to run WinUAE.

Just by way of an update.....

Ran Parallels in Mac iOS, to emulate Windows 7 (as I had a copy to hand) then ran WinUAE.

Worked great until Windows 7 crashed and completely trashed my compact flash.

If anyone knows how to back up compact flash cards, or just wholesale copy a CF to Windows and then dump it back later, please let me know.

Thanks for that.

Is there any necessity to format the CF card you want to restore the back up to?

Or just shove a card in and off you go, and the system doesn't care if it is FAT32, Mac OS etc? And it just copies the formatting, partitions and data wholesale.

For me it is more practical to use the WinUAE save state function.

I have same problem with save games. I think its because all my folders (Win10) are writeprotected, there is nothing i can do about it, tried everything i could google, many other Win10 users have the same problem. Never had this problem in Win 7.
