My C64 Mini Game Packs
Hi,
I have compiled a group 273 additional games for the C64 Mini. All files are renamed to the correct filename THEC64-drive8.d64 Simply drag the file from the game folder onto the root of your USB and play. Multi Disk games have been renamed accordingly for example; /Turrican II - The Final Fight/Disk 1/THEC64-drive8.d64 /Turrican II - The Final Fight/Disk 2/THEC64-drive8.d64 Use Savestates for multi disk games, and then replace the disks on USB. For more info on how to load multi disk games on the C64 Mini read here https://thec64.com/troubleshooting/ List of games include; 10th Frame 1942 5th Axis Action Biker Ad Infinitum Airborne Ranger Alcazar - The Forgotten Fortress Aliens (Electric Dreams) Anabalt Andy Capp Archon - The Light and the Dark Arkanoid Arkanoid - Revenge Of Doh Army Moves Arnie Auf Wiedersehen Monty Aztec Challenge Bandits Barbarian Batman - The Movie Batty BC II - Grog's Revenge Beach Head Beach Head 2 Bedlam Below the Root Beyond Forbidden Forrest Beyond the Ice Palace Big Mac - The Mad Maintenance Man Blue Max Bobby Bearing Bomberman C64 Bombjack Bombuzal Booty Boulder Dash 2 Bounder Bounty Bob Strikes Back Bozo's Night Out Bruce Lee Bubble Bobble Bubble Dizzy Buggy Boy Canabalt Castles Of Doctor Creep Cauldron Cauldron II - The Pumpkin Strikes Back Caveman_Ugh-Lympics Chuckie Egg Citadel CJ Elephant Antics CJ In The USA Cliff Hanger Clik Clak Cobra Combat School Comic Bakery Cosmox Creatures 2 Torture Trouble Dan Dare Dark Castle Decathlon Delta Detective Game Dino Eggs Dizzy Dizzy 2 Treasure Island Dizzy Dizzy 3 Fantasy World Dizzy Dizzy 4 Magicland Dizzy Dropzone Druid Druid II - Enlightenment Dynamite Dan Eliminator Elite Enforcer Entombed-Staff Of Karnath 2 Exile Exolon Fairlight - A Prelude Fernandez Must Die Finders Keepers Firefly First Samurai First Strike Flimbo's Quest Flip and Flop Forbidden Forest Force Seven Fort Apocalypse Frank Bruno's Boxing Frantic Freddy Freddy Hardest G.I.Joe Game Over Ghettoblaster Ghost Hunters Ghostbusters Ghosts'n'Goblins Goonies Gordian Tomb Great Escape Great Giana Sisters Green Beret H.e.r.o Hard Hat Mack Hard 'n' Heavy Head Over Heels Henry's House Hopeless Horace Goes Skiing Hover Bovver Hudson Hawk Human Race Hunchback Hunchback II - Quasimodo's Revenge Hyper Sports I ball I ball 2 Ik Ik Plus Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom Into The Eagle's Nest Jack The Nipper Jeep Command Jet Pac Jet Set Willy Jet Set Willy II - The Final Frontier Joe Blade Jumpman Junior Jupiter Lander Kane Karateka Kikstart II Killed Until Dead Knight 'n' Grail Krakout Kung-Fu Master Laser Squad (expanded) Last Ninja Last Ninja 2 Last Ninja 3 Last Ninja Remix Last V8 Law Of The West Leaderboard Golf Led Storm Lightforce Little Computer People Lode Runner Maniac Mansion Manic Miner Mario Bros Match Day II Match Point Mayhem In Monsterland Microprose Soccer Mighty Bombjack Mikie Miner 2049'er Mission Elevator Montezuma's Revenge Movie Monster Game Myth - History in the Making Navy Seals Nemesis The Warlock Neuromancer Night Shade Olli & Lissa 3 Olympic Skier One Man And His Droid Out Run Europa Pac-land Pac-Mania Paperboy Park Patrol Passing Shot Piracy Platoon Pogo Joe Popeye (Parker) Poster Paster Potty Pigeon Power Drift Predator Project Firestart Psycho Pigs UXB Pyjamarama ! Thank you for uploading these, I will eventually get round to using the games when I get myself organised (lots of things going on and so much to play with)
In the meantime, I have downloaded the file and I will always have the games ready for when the "time" is available to have a good session and also to compare some of the games to the Spectrum versions. |

Thank you so much for this, that´s so sweet of you
Getting the C64 Mini soon. I was wondering, ist there a Pack for Demos ? (or a "all in one pack") That would be so cool. Its for me the main reason to get the mini, to watch all those awesome Party Demos on my TV. |

my finger is hovering over the buy button for the mini - im torn whether to wait for the full size one with the keyboard however.
Have all the original latency issues now been resolved? Im itching to play Arena again that was like a Chaos (spectrum) clone but on a huge scale... but if I remember correctly it was played via keyboard not joystick \PZ |

If a full functional keyboard is necessary then hold off. Otherwise if your happy to use usb keyboard then get the mini.
Let me warn you the controller that comes with it is terrible. Lightweight plastic and easily breakable. You may want to invest in a proper controller.. Compatibility list.. https://gurce.net/c64mini/hardware_compatibility_lists I have the Logitech Wireless Gamepad F710 which works well. |

You are so sweet, thank you . I never had a C64 back in those days but i played alot of C64 at my best Friends House . (i had an Amiga of course , because its was 16-Bit sweeeetness of some smurftastic caliber ) However, after all those years, i am kind of turned on by those sexy 8-bit C64 Graphics (no kidding) SID Sound and especially the DEMO SCENE IS FREAKING AMAZING on the C64 . So, i have alot to learn about the C64 Software. What where the Great Demos & Games/Apps . About the C64 Mini LAG: It has been improved. [ Show youtube player ] (skip to minute 6 for the LAG test) It´only getting better. Like i said, the main draw for me is watching those sweet, sweet Demos with the correct 50Hz on my TV. Man, i am so excited ! HUGE greetings to all those kind people here. Much love from Torti . You are the Best Last edited by Torti-the-Smurf; 06 March 2019 at 12:02. C64 is non existent on modern day tv's. If you don't have a modern tv. Just enable game mode on your tv and it should fix lag. This is my own experience. I'm no cyber nerd who does those .0003 of a second tests. Lol

there should be ana announcement very soon on the full sized c64 -- just seen on the book of faces that they are meeting with the manufacturer's today.
there looks like there is still a little lag - does anybody notice it in game? thanks for all this info - i think I have a speedlink joystick in the loft that will work. In fact ive got a couple of c64's stashed up there too - think its time to do a recce, and not put a foot through the ceiling this time |

Neither do I. After firmware updates the lag is not visible for me.

I really wanted the little C64 to be awesome, really ;but sadly it´s horrendous
The Compatibility is so low that only 2 of the 40 Demos i tried worked. Only single Disk Demos of course because no Disk swapping feature I thought it would use VICE The Lag is really heavy on the games and the absolute shite Joystick dosent help either. It hurts me that i had to say all that, because i really hoped that little thing would be a neat C64 Demo Box; and to play occasionally games on it. I really hope they bring some firmware updates to fix all those issues and bring this little c64 at least to open source C64 emulation standards. Torti is a sad but also happy for the nice EAB community. |

Do you have firmware v1.2? I did not try any demos yet, but all the games I tried worked so far.
I agree with the joystick. It is pure pain. |

But Torti, don't hold back, tell us what you really think of the C64 mini? I was kind of excited when i saw all the hype about it, especially with the firmware updates that let you bring your own beer, and I almost bought one, but then I came to my senses and realized I already had the best c64 ever made, right inside my little Retroarch box. Disk swapping is still a major PITA though, and I ain't talkin' 'bout tasty flat-breads. I'd like to flip the bird to those flipfiles. But thanks to the OP for making these little packs available for the mini fans.

Devo I am very dissapointed in the C64 Mini.
1) The Unit power´s on everytime you turn on the TV (pretty Annoying if you ask me) 2) The Emulation is very poor and laggy. Pretty much every open source emulator is better than that. (and thats real sad imo - because if a device is called "C64" i expect C64 software to run on it - shocking, i know ) 3) The Joystick is the worst thing and makes this device almost seen as a joke - The support for other joypads is hit or miss. I tried a PS3 Joypad (did not work) , i tried a Ps4 Joypad ( it worked, but no D-Pad support and the Analog Stick (left Thunbstick) was way to sensitive) That all hits me right into my smurfy balls, because i thought the Mini would be a better product than what we got. They are even planning a C64(mini) with a working Keyboard, but why bother if the basic functions are already lacking like this. I really hope they improve/fix this disaster of a "c64". For Smurf sake, is it asking to much for a C64 "mini" to play actually C64 Software ? (and that includes Demos of course) ? I think NOT. Torti is sour The only sweet thing here, are the fine folks at EAB ! Torti |
