It's more than likely that you've just accidentally tripped one of the site's automatic spam filters. Send an email to admin@amibay.com and we'll look into it for you.

Amibay still have to rewrite that message for users with zero posts.
Most of times the site's security system inst-a-ban people which uses same IP as other people and from some locations and serves, alongside other methods. |

I tried signing up toAmibay only to fnd every attempt was rejected as I was called a spammer.
I tried emailing the admin. They did reply asking for some info to get the account set up which I promptly sent back. Heard nothing. I really can't be arsed with a site that doesn't want people to sign up and stay. I can understand wanting to stop spam but it's like copy protection. It gets to a point where it ruins the enjoyment of the user and this is one pissed user. Last edited by Yesideez; 20 November 2012 at 20:53. |

Amibay does have some ridiculous rules some times, and just doing an honest mistake trips some mod's "bad cop" alter ego for no good reason. People are human...
I do agree EAB is the best Amiga site in the whole universe |

I have to say I prefer amibay, they have a nice bunch of people, lot of temptations and not to mention tapatalk-support. However EAB is also nice, starting to be a bit more active but still wishing for that tapatalk support.

Hello
Hi Guys
Can I ask what tapatalk is? I have been on Amibay for quite awhile but got into trouble over a MAC conversation so decided to leave. I am Hoping EAB is less ruled by MAC's and more about the Miggy which from the little I have seen it is. I have been over here a few times to look around my loves at the mo are the Sam 440 and my 030 A1200 but I am getting some really good game time on my I5 PC with windows 7. Mind you tried Ubuntu and the New Steam app and of course if has failed, I only say of course cos i wanted to try it LOL. Al As for the guys who get bans just email as Fitzsteve said, he is in the know and is a great guy to get on with he has some youtube vids as do some of the other guys. |

Amibay
I have tried to join Amiga.org several times and tripped the spam filter also. Perhaps the spam filter is a little too sensitive?
