New Raspberry Pi - AMIGA AGA emulation to become usable?
This sounds good news, plus still at a great price:

If my 1.5Ghz quad-core ARM Cortex-A7 CPU ensures perfect performance with all aga-games with 28-56Mhz 68020 (640 width mode) then i think 900 Mhz A7 must ensure perfect performance for aga-games 14-28Mhz 68020.

It would be great to have a RPi 2 booting straight to UAE4ALL2
Then I would probably not need to use my actual AMIGA. UAE4ALL2 works really well on OUYA. The HDMI output you get out from the OUYA is probably better than any scandoubler is going to offer so the RPi 2 should offer the same. Plus RPi 2 is a lot cheaper and easier to sort than a FPGA. Ok the emulation is not 100% but I think for mucking about with WHDLoad games, it is working pretty well. Plus there might be a RPi 2 overclock also. Stick on some self adhesive heat sinks as per RPi 1 for added safety. Last edited by Higgy; 02 February 2015 at 16:41. Reason: Add info |

As h0ffman stated, with the output locked to 50Hz this could be fantastic. |
