A500 lost screws...

Hello everyone,

recently i have obtained an A500 (kick 1.2) in rather poor conditions.

I have tried to retrobright it (not bad except keys), and unfortunatly i've lost the screws (they should be.... somewhere in my home ).

Whilst i'll try to find them, could someone please tell me which screws are needed?

Iiirc there were 6 screws self-threading for the case (i don't remember lenght and type), 4 torx for the mainboard (the same) and 3 for the floppy (the same...).

I have also installed a gotek, btw i've wrote a tutorial unfortunatly in italian -> https://compvter.blogspot.com/2020/0...-su-amiga.html

Thank you in advance!

Thank you but i have found them.

They are 10 similar to the one linked, 4 of them torks, all about 8mm long, and 3 for floppy that are similar to the pc ones but with the gotek won't work.

This night i hope i'll be able to close everything! Next step i'll try to make a scart cable.

If you don't want to make the cable yourself "Kabelheinz" on ebay sells good scart cables. I'm not affiliated, just a hint as I bought there and the quality IMHO is good.

In the same predicament although also need screws for A600 - seems like postage cost makes buying from amigastore.eu less desirable.

Are these 'standard' sizes that can be picked up in local DIY/hardware stores?

Are these made with Ian Stedman's schematic?

Thank you, we indeed want to make the cables, we have something like 20 amigas 20 atari and a lot of other nice things... And in fact i have also found also my old rgb-scart one.

We also have seen also the 1084s has a 9 pin connector are there schematics? We well use db25 cutted to 23 pin for that.

Also i'll open another topic for a new joystick, we have already made a small batch of laser cutted wood arcade joystick for pc would be cool to make also 2-3 buttons for amiga with the same arcade controls.
