Dunno which command it is because with Cute FTP and FileZilla you can do it with drag & drop and the delete key. |

Organize the FTP-Server
Suggestion on how to get things organised on the server.
Move rare_apps and new apps folders to the Apps folder. Move rare_games, new games and PD Games folders to the Games folder. Move AFCD, CUCD and AACD folders to the Coverdisc's folder. That's only a suggestion of how to get the Root folder a bit more tidy. |

I think it's quite organized, TCD. The root folder know resembles to a proper librarian catalog.

Hi,
All quiet on the western front... ahem... (last post about new stuff being uploaded was a couple of weeks ago, apparently). I thought some of you might like to know I have uploaded F.E.A.R. soundtrack (Monolith FPS) to our FTP. It's unreleased music to my knowledge (it was captured via a PC running the game, not from a CD, anyway). Hope you'll enjoy it ! |

Hi Deleauvive,
thanks for the upload, but do you really think it's suited for the FTP? I mean F.E.A.R. isn't Retro nor Amiga, so what about hosting it on your site instead? |

3 years is an awful lot of time in terms of next-gen FPS evolution ! I've been told F.E.A.R. would be nearly considered retro in a few months from now .
Sure, I might think about it although I am not sure people will find out about the soundtrack since I don't publicize this kind of upload on my web site. I'll move it in a short while (3-4 days) if that's OK with you . |

No worries, your Voyages of Discovery soundtrack is still very welcome up there Just thought that this is a bit too far from the whole idea of the FTP
I won't delete it, but since space on the FTP is limited it would be nice if you can move it. |

Scans are ok. I normally Scan things in 300DPI and resize them for the needs but 200 DPI is ok too. Keep going.

Just my bit of knowledge (I'm a graphic artist).
The best way is: - scanning at 600 dpi (color or bw) - de-screening (the descreen utility for Photoshop, by Sattva, is probably the best) - scaling down to 300 dpi |

What does descreening do?
