Yes, of course it matters! We all love a good story, the tale behind how the whdload install got done so fast is an intriguing chapter of PS Amiga

It obvious. Codetapper got the final mastered disks early enough to do a proper WHDLoad patch for today.

Legendary. Thanks for the hard work. I only lost faith once, but still wanted to give System 3 a chance.

So... was it worth the wait? Has anyone played the game for the first time?
edit: Great news of course! Thanks to all involved. |

The game boots off floppy on a4000, 060/66 with clean kick 3.1 (no patches, no cache), runs smoothly, played 2 levels, amazing, well done!

The adfs work fine with UAE4All2 on my Galaxy S4. Played it for a bit, but not the same as playing on WinUAE or real hardware with a joystick. I'll have to wait till I get home to truly appreciate it.
Thanks Galahad! |

Well well well. I must be honest and humbly eat my own previous words regarding System 3 and Mr Cale. A truly impressive achievement at Christmas, Mr Galahad!
So all it really took for System 3 to make this work in the end was a little push, a little education, and a simple offer of help and assistance from someone in the community who actually knows their shit. Probably also helped in a way that Galahad was in the same country as them! So in the past five years, we've seen Chinese Democracy, Duke Nukem Forever and now Putty Squad come to realisation after epically drawn-out periods of procrastination. What more miracles lay ahead in the future? A Merry Berry Christmas to all. |
