PAL CD32 games on NTSC/USA consoles ??
Hi ,
does anyone know, if there are any problems , playing PAL CD32 games (Darkseed) on USA (NTSC) consoles?? or are CD32 games region free?? thanks... ähm... original CD of course , no copy , rips or so.. ! |

It depends on what you want to display them on...
1) A NTSC CD32 will display in black and white if the system is booted in PAL mode on a PAL TV. 2) If left in NTSC mode most games wont work or the screens will be missing parts and the sound could be messed up as well. I am in the USA and NTSC CD32's are virtually useless here because almost all of the content is PAL. I plan on eventually getting a PAL CD32 and displaying it on a monitor using an S-Video to VGA converter box. |

We have problems with PAL games on an NTSC CD32 too.
