Vivid 24 - Digital Micronics

while we are at it, does anyone have the software for this Vivid 24 card?
it is on a missing iso image // AGA Utilities CD v2.0 (World Off Liberty)(April 1999).rar <-- this one is CD03
two disk archive called:
CD02: P1958A VIVID 24S AGA.DMS
CD02: P1958B VIVID 24S AGA.DMS

#1) a nice benchmark program you can find on aminet - which gives an idea of how fast this card was - VividCompare

Even if software is found, it is guaranteed to not going to work without full emulation.

This board is sort of advanced version of A2410, updated revision of TMS chip which is specialized CPU that runs code that Amiga side uploads to card's memory.

Chip is supported by A2410 emulation (TMS340x0 emulation from MAME) so technically it can be emulated, as long as no one requires co-processors.. Page does not say if all co-processors are optional or if at least one is required. Image shows 2 empty sockets, main CPU TMS34020 and BT RAMDAC so it seems all co-processors are optional. (But why does it say 4 when there is only 2 sockets?)

This is interesting enough to implement emulation (somday) because it is one of the rare ones that support SAGE. Assuming co-processors are not mandatory and software is found..

thanks for info, sounds promising
i didnt knew about the A2410 # was reading the name once, but wasnt aware what it really is.
I saw the 4 CoPro mentioned asawell - also in this benchmark program,
they list a result for 4 CoPro - dunno what they have smoked back in the days

so lets hope someone can find the software for the Vivid24 incl SAGE drivers.

There is also 2 other boards with TMS340x0 chip:

http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/rambrandt

Same problem: software is MIA.

now I remember where I was first reading about 2410 and SAGE, your posting
I cannot find anything matching the above card names :/

maybe another 2410 compatible card: Microsystems: Director II.
this card is mentioned in Tms340class.library.

#1) vivid24 install disk found by moloch

#2) vivid.library has been installed - follow up requester says "Library initialization error"
when installing make a folder SAGE on your own, installer does not itself.
