As225

Hi.

Does any one have this. I use AmiTCP but I just want to have a look at it. Thanks.

This is what an Aminet search turns up:
http://aminet.net/search?query=AS225

There is an AS225 executable (text-based WWW browser), which requires ALynx.

AS225 is a TCP/IP stack. It is a commercial product, you won't find it on Aminet. The package you linked is ALynx rewritten to use AS225 rather than AmiTCP.

i found the software: Amiga TCP/IP Release 1.0 - 1990 Commodore.
2 disks zoned as "AmigaTCP-AS225-Release1.zip"

edit: this is the version with hardcoded drivers for A2060/A2065 ArcNet/Ethernet cards.
AS225R2 uses sana-ii-driver, but I cannot find this one.

edit: just found another networking package, with export/import of filesystem over the net, kind of amiga-nfs (maybe) on installers heaven: amigalink.DMS Amigalink by AmiTrix
it's ment to work with sana-2 compatible cards. using uaenet.device here, just crashed winuea.
but once it works, it looks usefull for an amiga intranet

The Amiga Surfer pack (which was bundled with some A1200s?) used an updated version of AS225r2 (I-Net 225) as its TCP/IP stack.

I have the Surfer pack plus original AS225 disks. I have uploaded ADFs created from the original AS225 disks to The Zone. (emufan's DMS files seem to have been created without the NOZERO option.)

Hi all!

Sorry for cross-posting my humble request but I figured that the two threads include two different sets of Amigans

Could anyone share with me AS225? I would like to try to connect an A2000 with Kickstart v1.3 to the Internet

Thanks!
