Yep, same thing here but in 1997. A second-hand Pentium system that cost about the same as a 68040 for the A1200... The Amiga was already "Doomed" at the time, Doom only made it worse.

Are you sure ?
It would have been many years ago when i read it, so maybe in one of the old mags, but yeah, and im pretty sure they just wanted to license the name and use their own engine which obviously they used their Alien Breed IP on it instead in the end.
