I've dumped quite a few disks for SPS on an A1200/060 with no problems that I'm aware of.

IF IPFs can be used to "restore" games in their original state, that certainly leads to this question : Will the SPS use this ability to re-release Amiga game floppies someday, with scanned covers, and such ?

I am not saying this is desirable or that is does not raise ethical & practical issues, but a market certainly exist for such re-manufactured Amiga games. The crucial advantage of this would be that a damaged disk could be restored at will...

Straight answer: no. We do not own the distribution rights for most of the software preserved. We're also no manufacturer or label, we just happen to be a preservation project only. So unless someone actually buys the rights and republishes some titles (which I doubt would pay off in the end), you'll have to stick with the old disks you already have.
