WINUAE MIPS vs Real Hardware MIPS on SysMon
I was wondering how does WINUAE with JIT turned on compare with any of the latest Amiga One computers. I do not have the stats right in front of me right now but my Gaming PC with i7 is running a little faster than Amiga X1000 which is around 3000 MIPS. For comparison
- A1200 with PPC 603 is about 380 Mips - SAM440ep is about 1100 Mips However the following article confused me a little (http://www.generationamiga.com/2017/...x500040-64bit/) since they claim the new X5000 is 28,000!!! MIPS but my guess is the SysMon will probably show around 10,000 MIPS. Any thoughts? |

Don't trust benchmarks, especially if emulation is using any kind of JIT.
