So 8x would be ok from an iso image. Am i right in guessing something like 2x-4x be ok for on the fly?

Regards

try it, burners now are burn proof anyway.. you will see if it had to use it many times in a burn..

Get a SCSIDE adapter and plug the CD drive into your SCSI chain in that case.

Just about all Amiga IDE solutions suck.

Get a 68pin SCSI cable that has a built in active terminator on one end and enough connectors for the devices you are planning to connect.

This is the exact brand/model I'm using

http://cgi.ebay.com/Brand-New-Adapte...QQcmdZViewItem

It's very flexible and easy to route and has built in active terminators at each end which you need with a CS MKIII or CS PPC

How much do SCSI-IDE adapters cost? And they make possible to connect an IDE drive to a SCSI-chain right?

Around 40-80€ depending on what model (UWSCSI, LVD etc) and used or new
Using both them in both my PC and two of my Amiga's..both 50 pin and 68 pin adapters...works like a charm
