Possible to map 3.1 ROM on a Standard1200+8MB RAM?

Is it possible use a program like blizkick to map 3.1 rom on a standard A1200 with just 8mb ram expansion? It has 3.0 roms installed.

No. It has no MMU.

If you are going to buy one, consider finding someone who will burn you a Kickstart 3.9 ROM, perhaps even a 1MByte or 2MByte ROM with added extras?

A friend sent me a spare Blizzard 060 Problem solved.

How is burning a 3.9 rom possible? Does it remove the necessity for the second reboot? In theory in would remove the 4gb limit as well.

Use ROMsplit & Remus tools and an EEPROM burner.
