Hi from Sweden!
Hi there!
Amiga 500 shaped a large part of my adolescence and now - +25 year later - I'm ready to once again immerse myself into the virtual worlds of this amazing computer machine! :-) I probably will start with some amazingly stupid newbie questions, so please be patient. :-) Best regards Mattias |

These are exciting times for 68k Amiga, so its a good time to re-join the community. If your Amiga 500 is working properly you're in luck, but you will probably find a lot of the old disks are not working anymore. You should know that there are stuff like GoTek drives that can easily replace the internal Floppy drive. Then you can load e.g. game images from a USB stick. There are also some great expansions that make your trusty old A500 more useful. For a more modest but great upgrade, take a look at ACA500+ For a more outrageous upgrade, google for Vampire 500 V2+ For adding internet access, there are projects like "Plipbox". Welcome! If you have no original hardware around, try considering a raspberry pi 3b with amibian on a microSD card. Or winUAE of course
