Thanks LanceT, for test I attach the Bios used by me, with 286 seems to work well while with 386 you have to force with PCPrefs (run it several times) otherwise it can not open Janus.library

The bios file you provided it shows as a 286-bios <left> but it shows as a 80486 on the next screen <right>. I must have messed something up LOL

I couldn't get much past this last screen. I think I need to add a dummy hdf file to xt-IDE0. On amiga side reset Winuae program crashed.

Edit: think I have figured it out HAHA
add "i486DX/50" to x86 bridgeboard/A2836 SX/ Emulator config

Even with yours 4siw005 there is something wrong, my 386 remains 386

Maybe the could fail because I haven't set up shadow rom in bios, I don't know. It has been years since I have messed with 386/486 setting.
Thanks.
After a few tests, I prefer to use the original Bridgeboard BIOS ROMs.

"CirrusGD5429-30-34drivers"
I managed to get the drivers on-line. CirrusGD5429-30-34drivers.zip
I used winimage to create a blank 1.44 floppy then copied the unzipped contents of this file to it.
It wouldn't let me upload the .IMA file here. If you would rather that then I could zip it and try again?

No need, Windows 95 has already the matching Cirrus Logic driver.

Yes you are right, I first used a win95.VHD file that I created years ago in virtualbox. Kind of got stumped when the amiga side of the PC asked to insert the win95 CD rom. So this file was useful in that case.
Pretty much have to do this unless you have copied the win95 cab files to a folder on the harddrive. Or you could update it in PCEM with the correct settings.

Is the a way to add an IDE-cd drive/ISO File to the A2386SX side of the emulation kind of like the XTIDE?

Thanks DamienD, I will remember that

It has nothing to do with the XDIDE but maybe AmiCDEx can help for the CD-ROM drive access ?

I haven't tested but ATAPI CD drives should work normally in either bridgeboard IDE controller.

As long as software (DOS) side is correctly configured. (Don't ask me)

Then you need to add the commands in "config.sys" and "autoexec.bat"

[config.sys]

DEVICE=C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS
DEVICEHIGH=C:\DOS\CDROM.SYS /D:mscd001
LASTDRIVE=F

[autoexec.bat]

LH C:\DOS\MSCDEX.EXE /D:mscd001 /l:D

Toni I tried long ago but but it never worked for me to install the CD-ROM or ISOCD, maybe I'm wrong to add the CD, you can give the right info on how to set the CD on WinUAE, thanks

I assume you mean hardware emulated ATAPI (IDE) CD? (Not virtual uaescsi.device unit)

"Add SCSI/IDE CD drive" -> select correct controller and unit (0 = master, 1 = slave) and make sure possible HD in same controller uses different unit number!

Thank you for your patience Toni, I had already set in the way you described but maybe I'm wrong, see screenshots (MS-DOS tells me it can not find MSCD001)

I found some forum post that mentions there is no XTIDE compatible ATAPI driver. Normal drivers apparently won't work.

Better reply: if there is PC SCSI controller + boot BIOS that uses already emulated SCSI chips (WD33C93 or NCR5380, 94, 400 or 710+, FAS408) and is ISA based.

And it must support SCSI CDROMs too. (better option than trying to add some extra IDE hack)

EDIT: PCem has some 53C400 based SCSI controller supported (53C400 is emulated in WinUAE) so this is one choice if it is sane enough SCSI controller and BIOS ROM is vailable.
