Nice site - very clean design and easy to get around so well done

Just a couple of things - Alien Breed '97 should be Alien Breed '92 (it intrigued me when I saw it ) and also the link to that game's second disk doesn't currently work

Argh ! Okay thank you for spotting that. I'll correct that this morning. With all those hyperlinks I had to include it was inevitable some errors would slip through the net. :-(

Edit: Now fixed.

The Monkey Island II links don't work either (MONKY2_D1.adf vs MONKY2_D01.adf), you might want to fix that too.

Why aren't any of these files compressed? That is a massive waste of bandwidth.

Sigh... I offer something for free and all people do is moan.

Because if users which to rewrite stuff back to floppies it saves them the hassle of decompressing everything. Secondly, I don't like compressed files.

Hope that answers your question.

I dont think he was moaning as such .. Just even these days some people are on capped broadband etc.. and downloading 6gig when they could have downloaded 2gig is a big deal. Some caps are like 2gig a month on mobile broadband here. Myself im on 50mb cable with no restrictions, so :P

We do appreciate your efforts tho Hercules.

Yes, we have to pay 4c/Mb, it gets expensive fast.

>Sigh... I offer something for free and all people do is moan.

I'm hardly moaning, I'm pointing something out. Other people are capable of offering compressed files for free, I don't see the difficulty.

Solution: don't use the site and look elsewhere for your warez.

I have already given my reasons as to why I choose not to compress the files. If your that bothered about wacking up your bandwidth, then like I said, don't use my site and look elsewhere. Their are people here though that have actually found it a great resource, so it would seem your comments are in the minority.

Well, providing people just download what they need instead of leaching everything in sight then it won't be a problem...

OK, will do so. You're not offering anything that hasn't been available for years elsewhere anyway, and I doubt you bothered checking these for virii/corruption.

And WTF is "Leisure Suit Larry 4", there is no such game.

Well this is a nice service to offer uncompressed files for free, something different to the 10s and 100s of other sites. Keep up the good work Hercules.

You didn't read the 'About' section of the site, because if you did you would of read that these are all my own disks. I had them stored as dms archives, which I later converted to adf's using the command line version of xdms.

I know the stuff is available elsewhere, but since I preserved all my disks on DVD for my own use, I thought it would be nice to share them anyway.
