Thanks for that link - I think Sturmwind looks fantastic!! - I will definitely be buying that... I bought Rush Rush Rally Racing also and that is excellent. Red Spot Games are doing a great job at releasing quality Dreamcast games! Funnily enough I've been playing some of the BOR games over the Xmas break on my Dreamcast. |

I love the Dreamcast! It has to be the best console I ever had, you can do so much with it! I will install an SD card mod on one of mine soon (I have 3 working dreamcasts )

Booting from SD card wouldn't work yet iirc. But you can boot the DreamShell. It's a DC OS and you can start then some emulators or homebrew games from a SD card, if supported.

arghh, no point in adding a loader step when i went to the trouble of getting rid of the loader CD by making the games bootable, so i guess the sd card would not even help if the GDrom died as you'd still need to boot the Dreamshell |

I think you can replace bios, then you can boot into SD-ram directly.
There was some chinese company begining to fabricate them too, I would like to order one but instructions how to order one is sketchy at the moment. Back in 2000 this news would kill DC-emulation server instantly, having storage/HD-connected to DC was a dream for many. I am a bit disapointed this SD-ram project seem to lack interest in some major gaming forums. Would be nice to push this idea to the maximum! |

I loved my Dreamcast, I bought mine quite late in fact, March 2001 and held onto it for a whole year before getting a PS2 for the simple reason GTA stopped being developed on the Dreamcast... I still don't think I should have got rid of it I had much more fun as a whole on the Dreamcast.
I think Sega should return with a new console, but that is just dreaming. The 360 is appauling, and the PS3 has some nice games but the system updates are a joke |

I suppose they'll use the Neo Geo emulator to port this game to the Dreamcast, so not really a port.Still looking forward, the DC needs someting more than shoters!

I live in Italy.
Is there a seller in Europe for one of those Dreamcast SD adapters? Hmmm, I should probably ask this way: which are the actual sellers of those adapters? |

It seems only five SD-adapters where for sale!
If you are good with soldering iron you could wire it up to your DC yourself. Hopefully there will be CD-rom/GD-rom/DVD-rom HW emulators in the future so we can just attach 500GB HD to our Saturn/DC/PSX/PS2 and run ISO in full speed from them. |

You should make your own, it's quite easy, not worth buying the external one!

I know you'd expect it to be the other way around, but the NG DEV TEAM games are better on the Neo Geo.
The Dreamcast versions of the games are delibrately cut down to encourage people to buy the Neo Geo versions. |

I recently picked up a VGA adapter for my Dreamcast. The games look absolutely amazing on a CRT PC monitor.
