Ok, I'm a little confused. This is what I have in DosDrivers:
CD0 CD1 CD4 Pipe. I'm not sure what you mean by this: Open how with a text editor, and what should I expect to see? and whatever I see, what do I do with it? |

Pipe is ok, but of the CDx you should keep only one. Run Utilities/MultiView, navigate the file lister to Devs/DosDrivers and load CD0. Check the text. There should be a line reading FileSystem = L:Somefilesytem. I guess that one says CDRomFileSystem, another one says AmiCDFS and the third says CacheCDFS. Keep the one with CacheCDFS and move the other two to Storage/DosDrivers.

Hi Thomas,
right now, I have CD1 and pipe in the Devs/DosDrivers directory. I removed CD0 and CD4 to floppy. The problems (still) are this; If I boot the 3.9 cd, or insert it after boot, the system shows the busy clock, but that is all there is, it just hangs. I went to the boot options, thinking that I might be able to get it to boot from the CD, but it doesn't show as an option. If I recall, the cd0 is supposed to also be somewhere else. if you still get errors while booting, you can edit startup-sequence and add to the very first line (ed s:startup-sequence):
set echo on and at the end of the startup-sequence, remove the endcli, or comment out the line: ;EndCLI >NIL: this will show all executed commands, and maybe better error messages. can you list the content of the CD1 file? maybe list on screen and take a photo with a cam this command from cli should list the file: ed devs:dosdrivers/cd1 Edit: you got a manual for your 2060? here is one. look again to the jumpers and termination of the scsi chain. the driver page itself , you already found? Edit: there is another CD-FileSystem: AsimCDFS 3.9a - download it from the zone <-- login and click on the link and follow the short instruction. the "the zone" link you find next to the "logout" button - once you login. On that disk is a tool called SCSI Inquire", which may help you to find some info about the blizzard scsi device /may help with CD1. Last edited by emufan; 13 April 2013 at 19:54. Reason: edit: removed things you have already tested. |
