Yes but it involves piggybacking the lock-out chip (Details), a pass through cartridge is the way to go.
Looks like nobody mentioned eviltim's RGB DAC, apparently it is the best way to get RGB from a PAL N64 and should be much cheaper than the Wolfsoft/DoubleYou mod. |

yes, but you need to have the skills to built one.... I really consider the wolfsoft mod...
