UADE is peeing me off so much.

Well, the Windows port anyway.

It seems no matter what song I feed it (yes I know how to use a command prompt) the program loads in the background for several minutes but does nothing, and eventually bombs out with a stack violation dump or whatever. I'll quote it now:

It appears to be uadecore.exe that reports the stack problem. Apart from that, I don't know what else to do. Is it a network problem? All I want is to play a song off my hard disk, nothing too complicated.

I always wondered why UADE caused my firewall to pop up and ask me if it should block UADE

Other than that it works fine for me.
Even a mod takes minutes to load? It starts here right after I press enter. I think that your problem is that UADE wont play the mod when it can't connect to whatever it wants to...
