ADPro 2.51 - Can't load Rebels Palette

Hi,

I'm trying to make a custom background for my ClassicWB setup.
I am using ADPro 2.51, when I try to load Rebels16.pre file in Prefs:Presets/Scalos I get the following error

Error during Load:
Not an IFF Image File

Does anyone know how I can use Rebels16 pallete with ADPro?

adpro uses form....ilbm images to read/store palette info,
while the rebel palette file is a form...prefs file.
i cannot find a converter, but maybe such tool exists.
maybe a palette editor can export as an iff image.

you can try to use the desired palette with your workbench - load the palette file with prefs/fullpalette
or prefs/palette and "USE" the settings. maybe change screen to 16 color screen too.

next use adpro: menu -> display -> palette -> Get Workbench Palette
to import the palette

I have tried Get Workbench Palette with Rebels16 palette loaded in ClassicWB. Display is set to 16 colours and when I render it in ADPro it looks good but when I go to Scalos and set the pattern to the iff file I've saved out of ADPro it displays mostly in grey tones with only one colour that is correct. Very odd and not what I was expecting.

Think I've found what was wrong. Still doing Get Workbench Palette but then I click Palette Status from Unlocked to Locked and then the render from ADPro looks exactly the same when I load it up as a background in Scalos.
