What to do ?
Being Amiga fan since 1988, I often thought about 'how would I run Amiga Company' and how HW/SW would develop. In last two years I started sketching a simple business plan which has grown to detailed product roadmap, R&D roadmap, new technology description etc. Now I have a dilemma what to do with it ?
Yes I definitely would like to find someone who would finance this project with 50million USD, but people I know don't have that kind of money So I have few options: 1. Find a bank, fund, private equitu, rich celebrity () or someone with money. 2. Ask DFX, Amiga Inc, if they are interested in my plan 3. "Give it to the people" 4. Forget about it Any thoughts ? thnx... |

I supose my friend, it comes down to what you want out of it...
it would be cool if (and thats a big if) you could financial backing, but being in a bdding war with DFX could inflate the REAL bargin price of amiga inc.. LOL and as a fair few good minds suggest whom really owns what in terms of amiga. LOL It might bennefit to disucss some aspects of your works with DFX ironically discreatly, they may find yourself employed LOL but I would limmit to aspects as it would be a discreate meetings and not for public release then another idea would be consider to make the plan / road map generic for the community wishing to use as a resource.... but again snowman040.... its upto how you want to use it. |

Last thing I want to do with it is to forget about it. What I'd love to witness is new Amiga platform/brand based on this project, and see some "work being done".
I'm not hoping to sell the project, that would be the last option. The ideal situation would be me as advisor/CEO of Amiga Inc, but seems like they have more than enough of those . I'd love to discuss it with DFX, but as you might notice Pyromania gave only some generalised answers on all questions here and on A.org. And wasting time on empty talk isn't my favourite game ... thnx |
