Sure.
I repeated myself: the Apollo/Vampire is a impressive thing. But from the benchmarks you posted, even a old Atom-PC with WinUEA is faster when it comes to raytracing. A native raytracing program for the PC is again a magnitude faster. So what is the use-case? It does not provide any benefits to wait longer for your rendering - the result does not get better or prettier by disabling the JIT or doing it cycle exact. You can build a fancy steam-engine for your bike, that will provide 30 km/h. Surely that would be impressive and a magnet on any steam-punk convention. But if you want to get from A to B, you would just simply use your car. Things would be different with a ASIC-version. |

what i said is pure fact you can prove what i said easily what we cant prove is what is on the core due to closed source but just remember it can be reconfigured to be anything it is a FPGA after all |

@nexus We are not just stealing people's data over Vampire cards. Same time we are mining with them earning bitcoins. So win win situation for us. That's our real secret plan. But please don't get this to the public.

Sorry, but you cant compare JIT with 68080. Is very easy to create 68k code which will be crash/break JIT, and this code will be dont crash 68080. Self modyfying code is enough to crash JIT. And some JIT version crashes even on not self modyfying code f.e on meynaf's HOMM2 port.

And since meynaf's HOMM2 is AGA: did you test it on the Vampire with this new core? Does it run at all? |

And HOMM2 works fine in JIT mode as well. If it doesn't for you, then either you're using an old version or something has been broken. On the other hand, it's also easy to make code that will crash on 68080 but work with JIT and any other 68k. |

https://www.ppa.pl/forum/strefa-gier...-2-na-amidze/2 f.e. post 51. And yes, SMC can crash Win-UAE JIT too, but i never tested this, because I dont use WinUAE. Only some people asked me to remove SMC code from TFMX 7v replayers, because replays doesnt works OK. I dont think that you can create 68040 compatible CPU code, which can crash 68080. But you can try. Good CPU test program will be perhaps very useful, for Apollo Team. |

Mining Bitcoin? Stealing personal data? Good god, Nexus is right - this is awful. What about when governments start installing Vampires in their networks, or even replacing their Amigas with them? State secrets will be at risk, and that's just one of the things that could happen. Healthcare data. Social Security. The list goes on.
And what about banking? Once these cards are out in the wild, Lloyd's will almost certainly be snapping them up to power-up their financial systems and I expect Barclay's will also. There goes your savings, folks. |
