Wiring
Just got myself a null modem to connect my Amiga to the PC. As it didn't work right away, I disassembled the null modem and found that everything was in order, except that there was an 8. wire between pin 22 on the DB25 and pin 9 on the DB9. The needed layout of the wiring as described in the manual to Twinexpress says to cut all wires not correlating with the diagram in the manual (which has 7 wires). So my question is: Should I cut this 8. wire or won't it change anything?
Sincerely, Kristian |

I would double check the settings first and try the cable between two PCs if at all possible.
