OLED can be colour calibrated, but the main problem they have is pixel element wear, and over time that will cause different parts of the screen to be different colours, particularly when showing static images like a computer monitor does. Think of it like screen burn. The mechanism is different, but the end result is similar, only applied to subpixel elements for each colour. For example, if you show lots of blue images, you'll end up wearing the blue pixels quicker than the rest (and they already wear quicker than the green and red), which will give an orange colour cast to the display. That could be calibrated out if it was even (professionals would calibrate any monitor regularly to counter changes in backlight etc.), but if it's not, some parts will be more orange than others. You can see this in some OLED phones after a couple of years - I have one where the battery and status indicators show a slightly more orange hue than the rest of the screen when you display a plain white image.

You can obtain crystal smooth scrolling as CRT monitor.

Only inconveniant is that you lost a bit of brighness..
That is interesting, have not heard of those features. Are they common/expensive?

here my monitor:
https://www.asus.com/fr/Monitors/ROG_SWIFT_PG278Q/

you need monitor supporting ULMB mode or Lightboost in 100hz for PAL and 120hz for NTSC

moderne game using Ultra Low Motion Blur (ULMB) are more smooth too!

it's not automatic for emulator and it need special support.

for emulator by example you can use:
- last Winuae
- groovyMAME

see:
https://www.blurbusters.com/faq/motion-blur-reduction/

According to the manufacturer the ulmb option has different names:

Motion Blur Reduction
LightBoost (by NVIDIA)
ULMB – Ultra Low Motion Blur (by NVIDIA)
PureXP – Pure Experience (by ViewSonic)
DyAc – Dynamic Accuracy (by BenQ ZOWIE)
ELMB – Extreme Low Motion Blur (by ASUS)
VRB – Visual Response Boost (by Acer)
Aim Stabilizer – (by AORUS / Gigabyte Technology)
MotionFlow Impulse (by Sony)
1ms MPRT (by LG) — up to 16x clearer motion than “1ms GtG“!

As a gamer, I have yet to see a solution which could fully and satisfactorily replicate the CRT look. Perhaps it's just not possible. Even though advanced shaders (think those from MAME or Retroarch) on an OLED are quite amazing and can get really close, they still look a bit flat and lifeless when compared to the real thing.

This is something that HDR could fix though at some point.

those features in the monitors are pure cheap hardware hacks ( chinese trickery)
reduce motion blur but only fools the eyes it doesn't really work
also add lot of GFX glitches in lot of games , so you can't activate it permanently

in most monitors is called "OVERDRIVE", which I do not recommend use such option never
I have a ACER monitor at 240hz monitor also I have an option called "MPRT"
and you can set it NORMAL or EXTREME

this option yes it works but works only in 120hz screens , also reduce brightness very much and darken all colors

of course also I never use it

resuming:

in a 120hz or 144hz there is a few motion blur, specially in certain FPS games or fast videos
in a 240hz screen the motion blur do not exists, all game and video fast motions are crystal clear

but 240hz screen are only available in TN panels,
however there is the Acer Nitro XV273X which I do not tested it but looks promising
