You're JOKING! That shop charges £15.00 for knackered old hairdryers and has a selection of TVs in varying states of yellowing and ill-health which you could probably buy new at Argos for a few quid more... their pricing policy is ridiculous.

That said, I've never stepped in (spending too much time in Beanie's bookies next door )

I thought that George Street's many charity shops would be a goldmine for old Amiga stuff, but all they seem to have is ("Amiga Action" - Ed.) [CENSORED] [CENSORED] [CENSORED] [CENSORED] showing him [CENSORED] [CENSORED] etc.

Controversy, eh? Tch.

I dont know where the street is but its near the NCP car park and the clock tower and has an outside market in it .

Thete is a massive shop there that sells loads of retro (junk?) for prettu high prices..

Sonic Spinball £13!!! N64 boxed with Goldeneye £55!!!

They do have a lot of retro stuff that I want. Donkey Kong Game and Watch (About £55) and the complete set of Tomytronc 3D games. (about £30-£50 quid each)

I wish the pre-ebay days were back where people sold stuff not knowing its true value I got some right bargains then.

Dont be so hard on ebay, most people would have just thrown the treasures away as junk never to be seen again. Like any other hobby/fad things will quiet down and you can get what you want at very low prices.

i mean the small one next to it... it begins with M i think, they have loads of smelly clothes in the middle, books at the back, cds and AMIGA games to the right next to the counter, where sits a grey haired, little elf of a man...

he's not cool, he's "RETRO", he's old... bring him a cup-o-tea from Forfars... ahhhh

I just bought a pc the other day for 50p, it was only a 486 something, but the whole case even though it had a pentium sticker on it (still dont know why..), ive pulleds it a part in hopes of sticking an EPIA or a p2 board in and getting a smaller pc setup for a firewall/emu or something...

I saw a few old consoles, master system2, atari things, loads of old crap, any 5 items for a quid, i didnt get any of them, because i already have loads of crap.. F

I think there must be some rule for charity shops nowdays.
The are not allowed to sell electrical items any more due to the risks of electric shock etc... all the charity shops around my way only seem to sell crappy old toys, books and clothes.

the megadrive was from Martletts Furniture Warehouse (megadrive, furniture ??? yeah i did see the link myself either), its located next to PC World...

The YMCA shop in Blatchington Road, often sells retro consoles aswell as Amiga software and PC spares

There is also a big charity shop in a converted church in Mile Oak...

Also, try Sydney Street, London Road and Boundary Road.

Also try out Brighton Station, Basvic Market on sundays!!!
