Remembering all the Workbench icons-set in Amiga history

Hello guys!

What are the Amiga icons-set that come to mind?

During the 90s we saw many icons-set born for Amiga Workbench, each with its own palette, I'd like to write up a list of them, including the exotic ones, but obviously excluding PNG icons.

those that come to my mind are:

• Workbench 2.x/3.x Standard at 4 colors.
• MagicWB at 8 colors.
• MagicWB-NG at 16 colors (the first 8 colors are the same as MagicWB).
• Iconographics (IconoGFX) at 8 colors (similar to the defaul WB3 palette).
• ROMIcon at 16 colors (the first 8 colors are the same as MagicWB).
• ProLite and ProWB at 16 colors.
• NewIcons 4.x at 31 colors (same palette as GlowIcons v1).
• GlowIcons2 (GI v2) at 31 colors (The first version of GlowIcons (GI v1) uses the same palette as NewIcons 4.x)).
• FreshIcons at 16 colors (the first 8 colors are the same as MagicWB).
• AndroidartsWB at 8 and 16 colors.

AndroidartsWB were never released, though, weren't they?

The NEXT icons mentioned on the thread are b/w or icons with a different custom palette for each icon.

btw, I found another WB Icons set with its own palette:

• Acquaricons (Custom 31 colors similar to NewIcons4.6)
• Acquaricons (Old) (Old palette, same order)

About AndroidartsWB

The AndroidartsWB icons-set was never released as an usable AmigaWB archive (.LHA archive containing .INFO icons), but I've got the preview images from the website to convert them as real Amiga WB .info icons. Missing alot of system icons, but they are looking good. Anyway, in my opinion, the author just mades some mistakes with the icons size and the palette pens order, I suppose he's missing workbench experiences. i.e.: pens indice for DefWB/Iconographics compatibility are in the wrong positions. I fixed them just for fun, but I can't release any archive without any permission.

This is, in my opinion, the right corresponding palette indice for an icons-set compatible with WB3Def/Iconographics:
