Terribe Fire 1260 test and repair

Here is an offer to anyone who is a bit handy at diagnostics and repairs.

I have what I assume is a knackered TF1260 - I had an IDE ZIP drive go up in a puff of smoke which I assumed knackered my 1200 - but it works fine with my bllizzard 1230.

Having another 1200 - tried the TF and nowt.

So, if someone wants to test and possiblly repair my TF1260 there is an offer of a 68060 CPU ( i have 2). On the basis that I get back a working TF1260 - you get a 68060.

If this is an illegal post I apologise now - but just thought it might be interesting for someone.

For the price of one 68060, you can buy a couple of new TF1260 cards. So unless what you offer is a cheap LC/EC variant, your offer is pretty much wasting "money" (in form of a valuable item) for nothing.

Also, it would help to actually say what fault the TF1260 has. Tried swapping the CPU already?

I will repair it for free and not take any payment other than Post cost

All because an IDE Zip drive went up in smoke?
