Problems with ACA 1221ec

Thanks @demolition, I finally reformatted my cf, this time using instructions for pfs3, setting 0x1fe00 for maxTransfer. The issue is gone now.

Hi Akiko,
I also have an ACA1221EC, it is a really nice, a pieces of HW but i couldn't solve one specific problem!

As i understand, you are familiar with psf3 as FS for your Amiga. As you know, to use such FS, a new scsi.device (for example : v44.20) should be loaded with "Loadmodule" command or a modified kickstart is required.

at this point, i tried almost everything on my A1200 but i couldn't start WB with psf3 since it refused to continue when start-sequence tried to load scsi.device via loadmodule command.

Should i ask your comment / recommendation on this?

You don't need any scsi.device updates if drive is less than 4G (any filesystem) or less than about 7.8G (if DirectSCSI filesystem like pfs3aio or pfs3ds)

You do not need to load another scsi.device unless you have a partition larger than 8GB.

I know but unfortunately i have a partition which is larger than that 8Gb constraint.

What i did;
I configured my amiga drive for psf3 with two partition, one is 0,5Gb, the other is 13Gb, by using winuae (by the way it is a miracle software... thanks to all contributors ). Following that, i've just copied a classicWB(ADVSP) to the first partition.

It works perfectly with my Apollo turbo, even on an A1200 w/o any accelarator!
but no chance with 1221ec...

Why, why, why???

I wonder whether this is related with 1221ec's "Automatic MapROM" function?
