Got to have that 1200
Hi guys,
today I will be the owner of an Amiga once again. I've got this deal going which includes: Amiga 1200 M-tec T1230/28 Internal 215 Mb HD 8 Mb ram Ext cd-rom 2 ext foppy-drives Monitor (1084S) External 85 Mb HD All this for € 80,- (= $80,-) Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Except I don't know anything about turbocards like the M-tec that's included. Can anybody give me some info 'bout that? Thanks... |

I dont know much about the MTec either, but that sounds like a pretty good price, and you'll have a great kickstarting system for WHDLoad use

I'm also the owner of an M-Tec T1230/28 RTC (8mb). I've read somewhere that this card makes trouble with the PCMCIA and my version didn't have a FPU (there are 2 slots on it but empty ). And i can't seem to run CygnusED on it (not sure if it's the card or the 68030 that is causing the trouble).

yo man! nice to get a "new" amiga agian
http://www.amiga-society.de/ahwbook/mtec1230rtc.html This is the Turbo card you will get, "This card has been reported not to work with Micronik busboards and it is not PCMCIA compatible if more than 4MB is installed on the card. The card also has a real time battery backed up clock." Abit bad though ... (if you want to use the pcmcia slot....) |
