I am stuck in ambermoon

OK,

I have three characters already joined me. I have the following issues:

A) I cannot find anymore store where I can sell stuff.

B) I cannot find the pickaxe

C) In the thief house there are couple of doors I cannot enter and if I attempt to open them they make sounds and almost kill my party

D) I cannot find picklocks to buy or disarm traps or unlock certain doors or chest

E) I have went to the orc caves but I am unable to find the place where I can free the kidnapped fairy

F) I am unable to leave the island and there is no ship or boat that takes me out of the place

I am stuck. Can anyone help me please?

Always leave a free slot in shops, otherwise you will not be able to sell anything anymore.

They make sounds ? They can't, there is no sfx in ambermoon.

Meynaf, the answer is that if you bump your character inside a wall or door, you injury him, and at one moment, you die

Duh! It says the door made some weird noise and then poof we all get damaged and poisoned but it does not open. I do not even know where I can find picklock.

Have you talked to everyone in the city ?
Have you read what the grandfather had to say about tools ?

You did not specify you tried to force the door open
But none of your characters is a thief so it's normal you can't do that.

There is a bug in the text file. Hour range is wrong. It is indicated 1 to 8 pm but in reality this is 1 to 8 am.
It also seems you did not finish that dungeon.

Hey guys,

When I received the key to get the water of life from the temple of gala you guys said there are lots of hidden walls so I toke that as a priority and start searching for those walls. I found two of them. There are two light sources and I touched them. But then nothing else. There is that statue in the middle of the room that says I cannot see clearly because the windows are preventing the light from passing through...then there are those candles that I cannot turn on or ignite and that is it. I tried smashing the windows that did not help..I tried turning on the candles that did not help.

What did I miss?

What did you miss here, perhaps some way to light up something.

Seems you get stuck for very little
Will you ask for help any time you can't find something ? Perhaps you'd better look after some online walkthru then.

I understand what you tried to type there and I understood there that English is not your first language, however I got the picture. I cannot find a good ambermoon walk-through that can go in details

Ambermoon isn't real hard. I could complete it without any help.

Do a thorough search.
If you find some object you don't know the use for, get it and try it whenever an occasion comes.
Talk to everyone you meet.
Any time you find some new clue or puzzle, note it down.

This is all i can tell. Besides, i've finished it years ago so i'm speaking from memory...

alexh your link above proves 100% why there is no good ambermoon walkthrough. It stops on grandfather's cellar and that is that.

The grand father Cellar is not the place where you need to start. Your character is weak at the beginning and you need to strengthen your character.

For that you must go to Spannenberg, fight bandits and then go train yourself.

Don't you know what an exerpt is? It means a small bit. This is the First page in a 100 page walkthrough.

Not really. Those spiders are perfectly fine when starting, up to the point you need the pick-axe (and then you're forced to go elsewhere !).

PS : i have worked out, and explored all parts of the game in order to translate the Michael Bohnisch walkthrough in French.

And it's clear that having the pick-axe is not enough......

At start you have several weapons available (if you know where to look) and breaking them against spiders is quite rare (they break more often against strong armor).
Street bandits are too dangerous for single character.
So the solution is to explore the cave until you need the pick-axe, and then handle the bandits (perhaps even finishing them off before returning in the cave).

The Street Bandits are easy to kill, but you need the training before.

If you go at them without being trained, they will kill you because they are too numerous.

Michael Bonisch Walkthrough specifies indeed that the make the character stronger is the first step before going fighting anywhere in the game world.

Spannenberg, training, bandits, and then you can proceed anywhere, since you gained ability to fight correctly independently from the weapon you hold
