HW to make a A1200 boot native NTSC or PAL

Hi all,

I'm pondering on finding a way to make a A1200 boot either Pal or NTSC natively by HW. I know the crystal has to be altered and i did read that a resistor on pin 41 on Alice has to be removed/altered.

My question is...

What is the difference on the HW side that makes a 1200 native to one format or another. Once i know that i can see if i can find a way to make it. ?

Has anyone actually done this ?
