Microbotics M1230 XA - Manual? Driver?
Hi all,
The commonly used link (amiga.resource.mx) for the driver / manual for this is down and mine just came in the post today. Is there another location for the setXA disk and manual in pdf or can someone throw it in the zone for me? Also, I currently run 3.0 roms in my 1200 but just purchased 3.1 roms that also came in today. Should I install the roms at the same time? I imagine so. Thanks -illy |

You're welcome! http://amiga.resource.cx has not functioned fully for a while now, but http://hardware.amiga.hu seems to be a permanent mirror site.
Never install two upgrades at the same time. Fitting one before the other (in no particular order) will make it much easier to cure any problems which might arise. |

*** Edit *** I think I figured it out by RTFM but please check my work anyway! ;-)
Ok, card is in, memory is there (!!! 128 megs from 8 !!!) and the PCMCIA card started working after a couple of resets. 3.1 roms are also in! Quick questions. 1) Since everything appears to be working, do I need to run the AddXAmem in wbstartup or is that only with 3.0 ROMs? Looks like this is not necessary with Kickstart 3.1 2) How do I get the 3.1 roms to kick up into the MMU? I am using the super ancient "Sysinfo V3.24" that states I have the MMU but it is (NOT IN USE) CPU FASTROM right? MMU shows in use now! boioioing! Any advice on where this should go (Startup Sequence or User Startup? Near the beginning or near the end?) Last edited by illy5603; 25 July 2009 at 02:30. |

Also, WHDload is 0 for 3 so far with this accelerator (I tried all of the pinball dreams games). Any advice for when I want to play games?
Should this board show up in "Expansion Board Diagnostics"? it doesn't. Thanks again. |

Board will not show up in Early Startup Control. For the WHDload problem: don't use the MMU.
