That was my poor english betraying me! I didn't mean removing the whole bottom piece under the floppy, only the squishing edge, and in fact I actually didn't remove anything at all (save the top shield which i threw away long ago ). Plan A was cutting an elegant hole just like yours, but I didn't have any proper tool at all (the marks prove I tried and desisted when realized the result was going to be a bloody mess... literally ). Then I turned to plan B, which consisted in pushing firmly the lateral panel till It gently bended to one side giving more than enough space for the cable to safely go through.

This was also messy, but worked without resorting to any cut job.

Next step for my 1200 is most likely getting an IDEfix in the next few months, so I'm taking a close look to those pics of yours!

I cut out a small area of the bottom part of the tin shield to allow the Indivision cable to pass through - I also insulated the cable but I still get the interference on start up for a short period until the system warms up as it were.

I also tried re-seating my Indivision.

I guess what works for some isn't going to work for others...

Is an extra earth (ground) wire a requirement for the A1200 version as in the Amigakit photos for the A4000 version?

Ok in the desktop case but what about a tower?

Short the E127R resistor.

My 1200 is rev 2B without E123C and E125C, but the problem is not here I think...

When I push on the Indivision (near "VGA port"), the screen become perfect.

I'm always waiting for an answer from Vesalia or Jens...

Any ideas to fix ?

Same issue here, clicking/dragging certain icons caused the screen to annoyingly flicker off and on. Strangely, this was only a problem using HighGFX 1024x768 mode.

I had 3.9 and FBlit configured for RTG icons (icons in fastram) while also maintaining the transparent drag effect. Using FBlitGUI, either remove the QBSBlitPatch, or change the synchronization setting from "beamsync" to "inline".

The latter works perfectly here, no more screen flickering at all.

I have tested 4x A1200 with HP and CBM Lisa chips.

The artifact slowly develops once the system gets warmed up. The case should be closed, shielding assembled. When the case is open, it cannot reach the critical temperature.

Strange, but even with a CLOSED case a CBM Lisa works much better. I can't detect any line artifacts with a CBM Lisa (old 1D MB).

Guys, can You do some tests again? A turbo board is recommended, as I noticed if nothing is connected to the CCK line, the Lisa doesn't produce any "bad lines".

The problem is visible in 28 MHz pixel clock modes only (Multiscan, DblPal etc.).

So, what I need is:

1. MB revision
2. Lisa brand (CBM or HP)
3. E127R value
4. short description of the problem

Thank You!
