Hey - cool !
You and your team did a pretty fine work with the game It looks really, really good ! It's a bit strange hearing my music in a game 'cause I did that only for fun and for my own. But you were right ! I agree with you that the music fits to the game. And it makes me a little bit proud about it |

I have to say Marcus, I love having your track in the game.
I will update the Youtube link to include your youtube page and links to your music etc, I was so excited to actually get a video working I forgot to promote where I should've! (Camstudio and Hypercam both gave up working for me tonight) Your music is just right for the vibe of the game. |

Cheers Peter.
I figure it will only be a h.d release and not an .adf release. I really hoped the programmer would come back onboard to see it through to release...he has been really quiet lately. This means I am left with a game that's 90% complete and no knowledge of how to make it h.d playable unless he comes back or I figure it out myself (probably best). If and when it gets released I will post a new thread on here with a link to the download. Fingers crossed it happens! I got very close to where I needed it to be...just a little further and we're good to go. Thanks again Peter for your continued interest |

Hi - just wondered if there was any more progress made with the game or whether the project had sort of gone off the boil a bit... just checked the you tube video again and the artwork is awesome...

Hi all! I spotted there had been some activity on here, I meant to reply to you sooner.
I just had a crazy busy few months at the end of last year, having to move urgently due to our home literally collapsing around us, finding money for that move etc etc. Nightmare. Back to the game, I have to be honest, if this version ever sees the light of day I will be amazed. I kept going back to it myself after losing contact with the programmer, I was trying to create a H.D version for release just so you could play it. This might still happen if I can figure out what I was doing wrong in the compiler. But for now, I am so bogged down in other work, my artwork, I am also co-creating a game for android at the moment. I will be finishing it up one day, I just don't know when that will be. Thanks for your interest guys, I still love the Amiga and got myself 2 new 1200's last year (can't remember if I mentioned or not, I haven't read the thread back yet) All the best! I will be stopping by more often |

Good to see you back LordNipple, sorry to hear about your house situation! Hope you got everything all worked out.
I appreciate what you are saying about the game - getting the time to do anything is a bit of a nightmare... good luck with the project, be great to see the new version one of these days. Enjoy your A1200's! :-) |

Phew! Been a busy year but I thought I would pop by and give a quick update on this for those following this thread.
Unfortunately all of my efforts to re-release an updated version have all but failed and so Renegades Deluxe won't now be happening, unless there's some sort of miracle. The good news is I have recently befriended a fellow Amiga enthusiast who is adept in Amos Pro and we're weighing up the possibility of creating a whole new action game based loosely on Renegades. Those who make games know how long these things can take so it may appear in the next year or so, I will more than likely start a new thread once we have something to show you guys. That's it for now, Merry Christmas! |

Hello all!
As always, I have not let this project go yet and I continue to work on it. I have since created all 20 maps (10 for the unexpanded A500 computer and 10 for the lucky ones who got a ram expansion). Here's a link to the map editor video: [ Show youtube player ] |
