Hi,
as a Christmas gift, the company DiscreetFX (NewTek) offers the source code of several products for classic Amiga on a link called "Complete Source":

That is very cool. Hopefully someone who understands any of this will manage to do something cool with it :P
The readme file that comes with the OpenS-release is dated 2000.

I agree, I hope programmers can take advantage of the code, learn from it and update it.
