Yes, I will make an update for both Amibian and Retropie. At the same time I will make a web installer to handle installation to simplify future updates.

Is it possible to include the correct config files that are included in the original workbench archives in the configuration menu?
Im saying this because the 25mhz default file that all installations are using is not always accurate
for example the P96 looks like a mess after installation (eg wrong colors/resolution/errors displaying),if i do the installer manual with the normal amibian and put the config file from the p96 archive looks very nice

Also some other workbench`s work slower or look less nice with the default config by trying their own config look and work much better

also can you include the missing workbench`s ?
eg:

BestWB
ClassicWB_UAE
ClassicWB_OS35
ClassicWB_GAAE
ClassicWB_68K

and last an option to be possible to use in any WB installation the Boot selector menu,right now its only available in betterwb

This looks great, but I'm a bit lost, I would like to install this on my A1200/030 with ROM 3.1.4 and on a CF card of 64/128Gb but if I'm not wrong I'll have to wait for the new update.

Only if you want to install Amiga OS 3.1.4 and ClassicWB

Hi cyberhead97, i think i have a problem using your prebuild self install images for Amiga's like that of 16GB. This is what happen when i try to use in WinUAE 16GB prebuild image where AROS write: ALIAS: argument line invalid or too long. Why this problem on 1.3? On 1.2 version there isnt. Bye

Thanks for the info. If original P96 config files from it's archive solves graphic issues, then I will include those.

I can fairly easily include ClassicWB_UAE and ClassicWB_GAAE Workbench's. ClassicWB_68K is already included. ClassicWB_OS35 is a different story as it requires installation of Amiga OS 3.5, which HstWB Installer doesn't support at the moment.

There's multiple requests for the boot menu to be included in installations other than HstWB, so I will make a different package that can install the boot menu with any Workbench setup.

HstWB Installer unfortunately doesn't work with AROS Kickstart rom. Please select a Kickstart 3.1 rom and reset emulator.

cyberhead97 i dont see ClassicWB_68K in the installer menu with the other WB, do you mean its included in the 1.3.0 version?

ok no problem about the ClassicWB_OS35 3.9 is newer anyway,will 3.1.4 included?

if you can include all workbench`s with their individual configuration files will be great

and please dont remove the original 25mhz file it comes handy sometimes

Managed to install flawlessly both 3.1 and 3.1.4 with the final 1.3.

For the time being, I stick to the 3.1, because it includes the betterWB. In BestWB there are too few apps, the most wanted one for me would be DOpus.

The separate package for Amiga Boot Selector would be juicy and push me to the 3.1.4, because I can install the DOpus and take from there.

ClassicWB 68K is included, but only shown for Amiga OS 3.1 installations.

I haven’t thought much about updating Amiga OS 3.9 to 3.1.4 as I find these two versions more different than Amiga OS 3.1 and 3.1.4. It would require that Amiga OS 3.9 is installed, then Amiga OS 3.1.4 is installed on top of that to finally install ClassicWB OS39.

Wouldn’t installing Amiga OS 3.1.4 and ClassicWB FULL/ADV/ADVSP give more or less the same result except a few differences in programs?

By original files do you mean Picasso96 or WinUAE configs?

Due to the amount of different I plan to make a package that can install the following in any Amiga OS:

1. Amiga boot selector menu
2. DOpus 4.12/4.16
3. MUI 3.8
4. WHDLoad 18.5
5. Accelerator utils for ACA, Furia, Blizzard, Apollo card + more

This package can be updated more frequently than HstWB and have all the essentials Amiga users need for their day to day use.

I could name it essentials.

This wouldn’t require use of HstWB Installer or self images and can be made to work on any Amiga OS and made easy to update.

That would probably be the configuration files for Amiberry and UAE4ARM currently included in the HstWB Installer for Amibian. I will continue to include 25mhz configurations for those as compatibility is better for certain games and programs. I mostly use JIT and switch to 25mhz when needed.

The updated Amibian image will include ClassicWB 68K

BestWB is will be included, but unfortunately not ClassicWB_UAE, ClassicWB_GAAE as I need to convert those to packages first.

It doesn't take long, but takes some hours per ClassicWB to convert and test they work.

Patching and testing of ClassicWB FULL to support Amiga OS 3.1.4 seems to be complete now.

I ended up with the following patches:

• Reinstalled MUI to fix Scalos prefs and iGame.
• Patched Scalos title to 3.1.4 for no theme, Oldicons, Retro and ReGen themes.
• Disabled PatchRAM TagLiFE BlazeWCP FBlit and IconBeFast optimizations.
• Skips AGA Copper, BorderBlank and StackAttack options during installation.
• Added LoadModule ROMUPDATE to support Kickstart 3.1 being patched to 3.1.4.
• Added version checking of DEVS:scsi.device, so it only will be loaded if scsi.device in memory/resident is less than v43.45.

Next up is ClassicWB ADV and ADVSP, which are very similar to FULL, so most of the patches can probably be copy and pasted to those.
