Question Salvaging RAM!

Hi, on the new purchase of my A600 I am wanting to buy a HD for it. But of course I need that extra RAM. So i was pondering about being able to salvage the 1mb RAM out of my A500+. I have opened up my a500+, and the RAM seems to be erm, hardwired? (is that the term )

So would it be possible?

You can't use your A500+ RAM in your A600.

If you get a trapdoor memory upgrade for the A600 try not to get the ones with the SIMM sockets onboard... they are too heavy and easily come loose and screw up.
