Roll eyes (sarcastic) Little Computer People

Is there a way to "reset" a "Little Computer People" disk so that the LCP starts from the beginning (where he "moves into and inspects" the house?)

I have a Little Computer People disk that I'd like to start over...

I think there is a dat file somewhere, but I can't be sure. I suppose if you delete that it should reset itself.

and if there is no data file to delete, try this:

CHANGING RESEARCHER'S NAME
To change the name of the researcher, type "logon please" and press <RETURN>. Select the program called "NAME CHANGER" by pressing "1" on the keyboard. Then follow the instructions at the top of the screen.

...

MOVING IN
If this is your first research session, your house will be empty when it appears on the screen. Based on our findings to date, most LCP are quite shy and will not readily rush into a new situation. In fact,it may take several minutes before they actually muster the courage to step inside the new home you're providing for them.

This is cut of an doc file for 'Little computer people'.

I hoop this can help you.

This doesn't seem to work on the Amiga version of the game. All of the docs that I have found so far are for the Commodore 64 version of the game, even though they are on Amiga sites...

This is an interesting game though. When it was issued, they created each and every disk with a special serial number by hand, causing the disks to contain different versions of the "LCP" (Little Computer Person).

Pretty cool...

Hahaha.

Well we only have one version of LCP in the TOSEC dat so far... did they really release a 'different' disk with each game they sold? I suppose we'd have lots more entries for that particular game in our dat then.

I see, too, that someone has created a WHD installer for LCP. As I recall, originals of this game are few and far between. Thank goodness! Let's hope they only sold 100 or so, otherwise there will be as many unique versions as there are mine games. And then, Ami Sector One will need an LCP Online section!
