HD-installers from the Best Of Airsoft Softwair CD
Okay, anyone have a copy of this CD at all? I just want a few small things off it really.
Airsoft's website used to host these installers for download many years back, but around the time of the makeover they ceased to host them any longer all of a sudden. Archive.org can show the page which mentioned these things but not retrieve the archives themselves. =[ I had toyed with the idea of buying the CD myself but find the roughly-£10 asking price from APC&TCP to be rather steep when all I really want are a handful of tiny archives from the thing. In case you're preparing the inevitable "whhyyy bother with random naff installers when we've got WHDLoad, baby?!" responses, I like to collect all kinds of obscure installers and pre-installed titles (particularly if they're built differently from JST and WHD versions). My recent trawl through the BBS archives on the EAB server - not to mention the sets available here - uncovered a lot of interesting stuff! |

Ok it doesnt seem to work for me.
Check the Zone these are only the free installs that were downloadable. Did you ever get all of Stein`s installs? |

Disable Javascript for the webarchive link and it works. Use mouse rightclick to download the archives.

Also right-click-saving the archives still doesn't make them useable due to the fact Archive didn't, well, archive them. @Boo Boo: Thank you so much for the installers! I assume you have the CD then? |

True, the downloaded lha archives aren't complete. But the downloads on the Airsoft site works fine here:

That's true, but like I said they ditched the HD-installers some years back, hence why I was asking for them on here.

Hi MethodGit,
In case you haven't seen it, I have uploaded to the Zone the Best Of Airsoft Softwair CD-ROM Demo. It is a larger archive than the Best of Airsoft Softwair Gold Edition CD-ROM Demo available from the Airsoft site on the page linked to by Retro-Nerd above. It was originally downloaded from http://www.apc-tcp.de/support/ (no longer available). prowler |

I dont think the best of AirSoft demo has the installers it just lists all the crap software from Airsoft
The CD32 install kit will run Some game that look for the CD.device but the demo of install2001 will do fine or other free avalible tools like the CD32 dev kit. |
