A fantastic 2D animating tool/Kickstarter

Hi, There is currently a kickstarter campaign http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...riter?ref=live running with the aim of creating a professional quality 2D animating tool. Compatability with game authoring software such as Unity and torque 2D is being worked on by 3rd parties. The goal is to raise 25,000 dollars. Michael V. Parent, one of the makers is a professional 2D artist who worked on Thor, the nintendo DS game. He is also a member of team Natami who are creating the Natami, Native amiga computer system http://www.natami.net/knowledge.php I think it's a worthwhile campaign and sounds like a very useful tool for videogame artists or designers etc. This tool could be instrumental in creating cool new amiga games for the Natami.

That Natami looks pretty good! Is it just a variant of Minimig - may be newer as I think Minimig has not been updated in a fair while?

Hi Lesta,No it's not just a variant of the minimig it's inteneded to be a complete computer and a replacement for classic amigas ie a500/a1200/a4000.It is aiming to be as powerful as a playstation 2 or more.It will be backwards compatabile with old amiga software and is an attempt to bring the original amiga hardware design into the future with usb/net surfing you name it.It's looking like a sweet proposition.Im really looking forward to it.

Awesome! Maybe the original Commodore could back it... if only we had a new official Amiga release!

Con-nodore usa seem to just be releasing pcs with the name amiga and of course the original commodore is lost to history so the natami seems to be the only one trying to give us a new amiga.Of course there is the fpga arcade too but i gather that will run a variety of systems and not just amiga.Natami should be an amiga just not in name.
