The .RAR file you've linked to is empty...

Anyway, personally I wouldn't use anything from https://thecompany.pl... they just hack / package files into .EXEs.

Not much use for real or emulating Amiga users...

Also, you have no idea what files are they using to create these. Are they verified 100% working ones?

For example; 4D Sports Boxing, the .EXE file is 5.12MB. Anyone know what exactly is in this?

So you have the same for every single game:

a) the emulator (with set config)
b) KS ROM.
c) other stuff

...which multiplies with every additional game; what an inefficient way to handle things, no thank you

When downloading with FF I get a message saying the RAR file has either a virus or malware

Just so you know...

sometimes exe auto start file are false positive.
This idea could be useful for a collection. you can make an exe with 100 or more games in one exe with a simple front-end to choose your game.

Thanks for this but I don't see Eye of the Beholder in it... Would like to compare it to the AGA version to see if there was any difference.

You have my collection don't you Valken?

There are the following in there:

Code:
Eye of the Beholder
Eye of the Beholder [AGA] [MS-DOS conversion]
Eye of the Beholder II - The Legend of Darkmoon
Eye of the Beholder II - The Legend of Darkmoon [AGA] [MS-DOS conversion]

You try v3.0 generation and optional command-line to run position without black window:

Öh, öh, öh.
I saw your package, @DamienD. I prefer The Company releases, but nice that you made your big games package with ADF images + generic configurations + screenshots.

BTW
Example false positive report for v3.0 exe (0/70):

Secret link to download package:

In first words: I'm only using WinUAE and nowdays i have not any Amiga.

I'm prefer not The Company, not DamienD HDFs, but just WHDLoad games on emulated Amiga side.

Using with Workbench (for icon clickers) or some frontend (e.g. IGame) you have:

- You need only one emulator and one KS/libs/etc for all games
- Every game just have size what it really size is, not oversized HDF or TC.exe
- Every game can have icon in Workbench and picture in GUI
- Every game save everything on Amiga side, not on Windows (like TC.exe do)
- You can modify everything (i.e. changing some data), impossible in TC.exe.

@Lukasz
The Company should do something for Amiga community (usable on real Amiga), not only for Windows users. Better do some WHDLoad patches of not present yet games (e.g. Smash, which is only available as cracked version) than, as i'm suspecting, using someone WHDLoad install.

Naturally, if someone has knowledge - he uses the only king in emulation on Windows - WinUAE.

IMVHO TC or Damien's collection is for easy run games on Windows for new guys - not for geek/professional guys.

You really need to get your facts right buddy.

Yes, my collection contains mainly .ADFs but also:

  • A few WHDLoad games where major bug fixes over the floppy version has occurred.

Interesting Statistics - Base Install & Update Packs #1 - 20:

Code:
11.50GB WinRAR'd
22.00GB Extracted
  13,564 Files
   2,715 Directories
      16 Arcadia ROMs
   2,526 Disk-based games
158 HDFs (patches / trainers applied when applicable)
          89 HDFs [native installs]
          51 HDFs [AmigaCD]
          18 HDFs [WHDLoad]
    360+ Cheats / hints / level codes / manuals / maps / walkthroughs etc.
2,700 Title / screenshots (manually taken by me)
Generic configurations you say? I don't think so...

Each and every configuration file has been created from scratch and is tailored for the required game in terms of:
  • Required CPU / Chipset.
  • Required KS ROMs.
  • RAM settings.
  • One of two different screen resolutions depending on the game.
  • 50% or 25% scanlines applied.
  • Games centered properly via vertical / hoizontal settings when required.
  • Required number of disk drives supported and .ADFs inserted accordingly.
  • For games which have more than one disk; diskswapper has been populated.
  • LEDs added (and only shown ones required for that game i.e. floppy or .HDF or CD-ROM.
