File not executable
I'm trying to add a script consisting of
C:P96Refresh 60 and saved the text file in WBStartup. Edited the information, added DONOTWAIT tooltype and ticked script. Now it says: File is not executable so I open up a shell and type: protect C:P96Refresh rwed Try it again and it works. But after I restart WinUAE it becomes unexecutable again. Is there something I'm doing wrong? |

Directory filesystem? FAT or NTFS? uaefsdb setting in harddrive panel disabled and FAT drive?

Using Windows XP Pro 32bit. File system is NTFS. I use default Amikit installation with WinUAE 1.4.6
Disable UAEFSDB-Support is not ticked. Only settings I changed are added my 120gb Amiga HDD, and refresh every frame instead of every two. |

iconx is default of course
 Problem is I cannot execute it from a shell either. I have to protect rwed it first. But it does not survive a reboot

Perhaps there is corrupted or read-only _UAEFSDB.___ in your Amiga C-directory? Try deleting it and restarting.

This worked!
But why would UAEFSDB got corrupted? It is a fresh Amikit install.
