Very engrossing interview there! Shows the amount of dedication and time that went into Pinball Dreams and all the others. I was gutted when Pinball Illusions only had three tables on the faithful Amiga... so bought the PS1 version for that extra table "Vikings"!

....and a WinUAE user. wtg Andreas!

If i am not mistaken didn`t Psygnosis get absorbed (including leagally) by Sony in 1997?, from what i understand there not even a commercially trading... hmmm....

bee cool if the rom could be released....

In 1993, Psygnosis was bought by Sony and assigned the task of creating launch titles for the up and coming Sony Playstation. Formula 1, Wipeout and Destruction Derby were the results and helped establish the Sony machine as the hot new console.

It is virtually all over for Psygnosis now. In 1998 Eidos Interactive bought Psygnosis' European operations and Psygnosis' US operations were folded into Sony's own development outfit, 989 Studios. As of 2000 the company does not exist. We have seen the last of the purple owl.

What impressed me the most back then was the physics of the ball.
Ulf is probably a math-genious... :-)

BTW, how do people code these things (the physics)? By try-and-fault or do they learn the mathmatcial formula for the laws on physics....
